Base pay range $25.00/hr - $28.00/hr
Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented HR Payroll Generalist (Temp) to provide critical support to our HR team during a period of growth and transition. This role will play a key part in assisting with the integration of a new division into our payroll and HR systems, while also managing ongoing payroll and benefits activities. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience with ADP Workforce Now, and be well‑versed in open enrollment, benefits administration, and HR policy maintenance.
Essential Job Functions
Support the transition and integration of a new division into the company’s payroll and HR systems, including data migration, validation, and setup of new employee records.
Partner with HR leadership to align pay cycles, benefit deductions, and reporting for the new division.
Assist in open enrollment administration, including system setup, employee communications, and benefits enrollment tracking.
Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, timekeeping, and benefits in a timely and professional manner.
Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in the HRIS and payroll systems.
Support updates to the Employee Handbook, policies, and procedures as needed.
Assist with compliance reporting, audits, and other HR generalist tasks as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills/Qualifications
8+ years of experience in payroll and HR administration, preferably in a multi‑entity or multi‑state environment.
Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now is required.
Strong understanding of payroll regulations, benefits administration, and HR best practices.
Experience supporting organizational transitions or payroll system integrations is highly desirable.
Excellent attention to detail, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
