About the Position The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for leading the annual operating plan, monthly rolling forecasts, and monthly financial performance reviews (P&L and KPIs). Challenge assumptions, document drivers, and reconcile to actuals.
Monthly Financial Performance
Partner with Accounting to align management view to the GL, ensuring timely, accurate monthly packages.
Prepare and present monthly variance analysis (price, mix, volume, labor, OH, scrap/rework, PPV, freight, FX where relevant) with “so what” actions, not just explanations.
Review margin and profitability views by part, customer, program, and site; identify actions.

Interpret manufacturing (cost) accounting, quote vs. actual, and absorption to explain plant performance.
Support quoting/margin reviews on large opportunities with Operations and Business Development.

Build and maintain deal models for pipeline acquisitions (revenue/margin build, synergy cases, integration costs, inventory valuation and analysis).
Support diligence requests (customer/mix, CAPEX needs, WC normalization).
Help integrate acquired entities into reporting/forecasting templates and close workflows.
AI / Automation / BI Enablement
Partner with IT/Automation to migrate recurring reporting into Epicor Data Analytics and related tools.
Define data structures, fields, and views to enable automated/push reporting.
Identify finance/supply‑chain workflows where AI/automation can replace low‑value manual work.
