Position Summary
The Investment Operations group supports $190B+ in assets across a diverse range of asset classes, including real estate, credit, derivatives, specialty finance, and alternatives. The Investment Operations Controls Analyst will play a key role in the execution, enhancement, and build‑out of Global Atlantic’s investment control framework, providing broad exposure to all asset classes and functions within the investment lifecycle. This role is ideal for an analytical, detail‑oriented professional seeking to contribute to a dynamic investment operations environment with significant scale and complexity. Responsibilities
Oversee reconciliation processes for principal and interest cash flows on fixed income investments (e.g., loans, bonds), par values, cash wire activity, and other key data elements impacting risk, analytics, and accounting. Own and manage assigned control and reporting functions across Global Atlantic’s investment portfolio. Support the development and enhancement of control reporting, reconciliation workflows, and process documentation. Maintain data integrity across multiple investment systems, ensuring consistency within the security master and related platforms. Ensure compliance with internal control standards, audit requirements, and procedural guidelines. Compile and analyze key metrics related to reconciliations, trade settlements, and exception management. Partner with technology teams to automate and streamline manual processes. Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 0–3 years of relevant experience in Investment Operations, Investment Accounting, or related functions. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a focus on process improvement. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required; familiarity with VBA and SQL is a plus. Experience with investment platforms such as Geneva, Bloomberg, or Clearwater Analytics preferred. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Ability to interpret complex investment and legal documents to extract key information. Familiarity with bank account structures, reconciliations, and data management practices preferred. Global Atlantic’s salary range reflects geographic cost‑of‑living differences and may be adjusted based on experience, education, licensure, and skill level. Compensation may also include annual cash bonuses, long‑term incentives (equity), and benefits such as a 401(k) plan with company match. Workplace policy : Employees are required to be in the office 5 days per week in New York and 4 days per week in other offices.
