Job description
Program, modify, and optimize CNC operations using Esprit CAM (4-axis, 5-axis, mill / turn).
Set up CNC machines and validate accuracy with operators.
Interpret complex blueprints, drawings, and GD&T specifications.
Design fixtures, select tooling, and support first-article inspections.
Collaborate with engineering and production teams to reduce cycle times and improve manufacturability.
Support RFQs with programming, tooling, and cycle-time estimates.
Mentor and provide technical guidance to machinists and programmers.
Maintain revision control and documentation for CNC programs.
Troubleshoot inefficiencies and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Proficiency in Esprit CAM (required).
Strong knowledge of G-code / M-code, CAD / CAM software, and SolidWorks.
Experience with Siemens, Okuma & Fanuc controls.
Ability to analyze blueprints / models to determine tooling, speeds, and feeds.
Solid math background (geometry, trigonometry).
Excellent problem-solving and cross-team collaboration skills.
Machinist training program, Associates degree in machining / manufacturing technology, or equivalent experience preferred.
CNC / Esprit certifications are a plus.
