Position Overview Savida Health is seeking a strategic and results‑driven
Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management
(RCM) to oversee and optimize all aspects of our revenue cycle processes for our behavioral health and substance abuse outpatient programs. The VP, RCM will lead a high‑performing team and work cross‑functionally with clinical, finance, compliance, and operations leaders to ensure efficient billing, reimbursement, and cash flow in alignment with organization goals and values. This senior leader will play a critical role in supporting Savida Health's mission to provide accessible, high‑quality care to those we serve.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and continually improve end-to-end revenue cycle processes, including patient registration, insurance verification, billing, collections, denials management, and compliance.
Lead, mentor, and manage the RCM department, fostering a culture of accountability, professional growth, and collaboration.
Monitor and analyze key revenue cycle metrics and KPIs, identifying trends and opportunities for process improvement and revenue enhancement.
Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to ensure accurate documentation, coding, and billing for all behavioral health and substance abuse services.
Ensure compliance with all state and federal billing regulations, payer requirements, and industry best practices, including HIPAA.
Oversee relationships and negotiations with payers and third‑party vendors to optimize reimbursement rates and resolve issues.
Drive initiatives to reduce denials, accelerate cash flow, and improve the patient financial experience.
Prepare and present regular reports to executive leadership on revenue cycle performance, opportunities, and risks.
Stay abreast of industry trends, regulatory changes, and emerging technologies impacting behavioral health and substance abuse revenue cycle management.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum 7-10 years of progressive RCM experience within healthcare, including at least 3 years in a senior leadership role; experience in behavioral health or substance abuse preferred.
Demonstrated expertise with EHR/EMR systems, payer contracting, and reimbursement methodologies for outpatient behavioral health services.
Strong understanding of billing, coding, and compliance requirements for behavioral health and substance use disorder treatment.
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills.
Proven ability to develop teams, manage change, and deliver results in a dynamic environment.
