Hand Assembler 1
Starting Pay:
$15.50/hour Location: Batavia, OH Schedule:
1st: Monday - Thursday: 6:00 AM - 3:15 PM Friday: 6:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Summary: Perform hand assembly work on pre- and post-surface mount circuit boards by following detailed instructions and documentation to meet customer and quality requirements.
Key Responsibilities: Follow IPC-A-610 standards for electronic assembly. Read and interpret assembly drawings, work instructions, and reference designators. Identify and properly orient thru-hole components such as capacitors, resistors, transistors, and ICs. Verify part values, polarity, and correct placement on printed circuit boards. Use hand tools and assembly equipment, including cutters, depaneling tools, screw guns, feeders, and pneumatic dispensers. Maintain accuracy, neatness, and quality throughout the assembly process. Report process deviations or quality issues to supervisors or team leads. Interpersonal Skills:
Demonstrates responsibility and attention to quality. Dependable, cooperative, and trustworthy team player. Accepts and applies constructive feedback. Stays attentive and safety-conscious on the production floor. Qualifications:
Education:
High School Diploma or GED required. Experience:
Prior assembly experience preferred, but
training provided
for motivated candidates.
