Position Summary The Senior Analyst, GAAP Reporting is a newly created position that will support quarterly and annual financial reporting and related disclosures for Global Atlantic’s Bermuda reinsurers and reinsurance sidecar entities. The analyst will coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting standards, and deliver financial statements within required timeframes.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and compile quarterly and annual financial reports, footnotes, and related disclosures.

Coordinate internal and external reviews of all financial reports.

Collect, validate, and document financial statement support and deliverables.

Reconcile ledger to source information, generate flux analysis, and identify key drivers.

Collaborate with teams including controllers, reinsurance, investment accounting, treasury, tax, risk management, legal, statutory reporting, actuarial, accounting policy, investor relations, and audit.

Assist with ad‑hoc requests and special projects as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.

Active Certified Public Accountant preferred.

Big 4 experience preferred (associate or higher).

Minimum 3+ years of related work experience, with recent experience in life insurance and significant reinsurance exposure preferred.

Experience with disclosure management solutions such as Workiva required.

Familiarity with Oracle FCCS, OneStream or similar systems.

Demonstrated expertise in GAAP accounting standards and practices.

Ability to work collaboratively and independently with minimal supervision.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits Global Atlantic’s base salary range is determined through analysis of comparable positions in the external labor market. Compensation includes annual cash bonuses, long‑term incentives (equity), and a comprehensive benefits package such as immediate vesting on 401(k) contributions and company matching. Total compensation may include additional short‑term cash bonuses and long‑term incentives for senior positions.

Location and Office Policy The position is based in Boston, MA. Employees work in the office five days per week in New York and four days per week in other offices. Global Atlantic may adjust qualifications and requirements to meet business and regulatory needs.
