Cryptologic Computer Scientist 4
in MD! Role Description:
We are searching for someone to design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to complex cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. You will create solutions derived from forensics and attack attribution, facilitate protection of critical networks and active systems, and conduct knowledge discovery of passive and active systems, or other cryptologic computer science mission support. The right candidate will apply requisite computer science skills (operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structures) to each problem to provide state-of-the-art techniques, tools, and approaches. The Level 4 Cryptologic Computer Scientist shall possess the following capabilities:
Design, develop, deliver, and operate solutions to challenging cryptologic computer science problems within a scientific framework. These solutions may include forensics and attack attribution, protection of critical networks, active system warnings and indicators, active penetration into target systems, knowledge discovery of passive and active systems, or other cryptologic computer science mission support. Apply computer science skills such as operating systems, compiler theory, database theory, algorithm analysis, computer architecture, discrete math, programming language theory, and data structures to each problem to provide innovative techniques, tools, and approaches. Qualifications:
Clearance Level:
TS/SCI with Active Poly Education: Doctoral degree plus 7 years of relevant experience Masters degree with 9 years of relevant experience Bachelors Degree with 11 years of relevant experience Associates degree with 13 years of relevant experience Degree must be in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field with at least one programming and at least 4 upper-level math classes (Calculus and above) Experience: Relevant experience in a computer science area (theoretical or applied), simulation/model development, designing/developing/using/evaluating mathematical models, methods, and techniques (e.g., algorithms), computation science, algorithm analysis and design, reverse engineering, and designing/developing computer and information systems, including hardware and software engineering.
