Position Overview The Director of Finance will serve as a key member of Landing’s management team, overseeing all financial planning, forecasting, and reporting functions across the company. Reporting to the CFO, this leader will play a central role in driving profitability, supporting executive decision‑making, and ensuring financial discipline across divisions including Retail, Agency, Operations, Marketing, and Korea.

This role requires a hands‑on, strategic finance professional who thrives in a fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environment and can translate data into actionable business insights.

Responsibilities

Lead company‑wide budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling, supporting growth and profitability targets.

Partner with the CFO to evaluate new opportunities, run scenario analyses, and inform strategic direction.

Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting with insights on revenue, margin, and operational efficiency.

Build models for new initiatives such as brand incubation, DTC, and expansion into new retail channels.

Operational Finance

Oversee cash flow management, AR/AP, and working capital to ensure financial stability.

Collaborate with Retail and Operations to plan inventory investments, purchasing schedules, and financing needs.

Support cost management and margin optimization across all business units.

Maintain internal controls and ensure timely, accurate accounting and reporting in coordination with external accounting partners.

Serve as a financial partner to department heads (Retail, Agency, Marketing, Operations, Korea) to evaluate performance and improve ROI.

Provide financial insights that guide decision‑making across marketing spend, trade programs, and resource allocation.

Participate in management meetings to align financial priorities with company strategy.

Analysis & Reporting

Manage internal dashboards and reporting tools to improve transparency and data‑driven decision‑making.

Prepare board and investor materials in collaboration with the CFO and CEO.

Track KPIs across divisions and ensure alignment with company financial goals.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).

10+ years of progressive finance experience, including FP&A, accounting, or corporate finance with strong understanding of GAAP requirements.

Experience in consumer goods, beauty, retail, or distribution is strongly preferred.

Proven ability to manage cash flow, forecasting, and profitability in a growth‑stage or mid‑sized company.

Strong modeling and analytical skills; proficiency with Microsoft suites, Excel/Google Sheets, QuickBooks & other ERP systems, and data visualization platforms.

Excellent communication and presentation skills — able to translate financial data into business strategy.

Collaborative mindset and ability to work cross‑functionally with creative, operations, and marketing teams.

Exceptional attention to detail and ability to work independently to deliver accurate, high‑quality outputs with minimal oversight.
