Job Description Meet The Press NOW is looking for an experienced Associate Producer who has a strong interest in political reporting and election coverage and thrives in a fast‑paced, deadline‑driven team environment. Responsibilities

Editing video and producing graphic elements for the live show on tight deadlines

Editing in Adobe Premiere and AVID

Working closely with EP, senior producers, line producer, segment producers, booking producers, production assistants and hosts

Pitching relevant and compelling live and taped segment ideas

Compiling research for day‑of news and long‑term projects

Writing scripts in iNews as needed

Working closely with the Meet the Press digital team to publish and distribute video on social media and owned‑platforms

Staying up on the news and jumping in as duty calls

Qualifications

2+ years of experience in digital video, broadcast or cable news

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Willingness to work in New York, NY or Washington, DC

Desired Qualifications

Comfortable editing digital video and eager to improve

Interest and passion for journalism and keeping up with latest news across multiple subject areas

Big ideas and desire to develop journalistic writing and research skills

Ability to enterprise, research and plan stories

Strong sense of newsworthiness, AP‑style and social media best practices

Calm under intense deadline to finish a project

Thrives in a collaborative team environment

Strong attention to details of every project

Prior experience shooting in the field on DSLR cameras

Comfortable producing stories using remote interviews and video material on hand

Additional Requirements

Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, which currently requires contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week. Beginning January 5, 2026, hybrid employees will be required to work from the office a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in‑office requirements at any time.

Salary range: $75,000 - $85,000

This position is eligible for company‑sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other discounts and perks.
