Project Engineer – Capital Projects | Industrial Sector
A well-established industrial operator is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to support the execution of capital projects at one of their key U.S. facilities. This is a key role focused on ensuring successful project delivery—from concept to construction startup—while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
Construction Oversight
Act as the primary liaison between the company and field construction contractors.
Support and implement construction strategy, contracting approach, and execution plans as defined by the Project Manager.
Oversee field contractor activities to ensure work is performed safely and in compliance with all engineering and design specifications.
Manage site materials, equipment, tools, warehouse logistics, and inspections.
Project Management
Lead the development, execution, and control of assigned capital projects.
Drive projects from conceptual design through procurement, construction, and commissioning.
Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, procurement, and construction teams.
5–15 years of relevant experience.
Proven track record in industrial plant environments; experience in
chemical, petrochemical, or petroleum refining facilities
is highly valued.
Strong background managing capital projects involving engineering, procurement, and construction.
