ABAP Developer
Location:
Schaumburg, IL (Hybrid – part in‑office, part remote)
Pay range:
$94,000 – $154,000 (Annual) with potential short‑term incentive bonus.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and enhance SAP ABAP applications, reports, and interfaces to meet business needs.
Support business processes: troubleshoot, resolve issues, implement changes.
Collaborate with business analysts, functional consultants, and IT colleagues to translate requirements into technical solutions.
Maintain quality: follow Zurich’s coding standards and best practices to deliver reliable and secure applications.
Optimize performance: analyze and fine‑tune existing programs for efficiency and scalability.
Continuous learning: stay current on SAP technologies and share knowledge with the team.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years of experience in application design and development OR
High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7+ years of experience in application design and development.
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of experience in SAP ABAP programming (reports, module pool, enhancements, forms, interfaces).
Experience with SAP ECC 6.0, SAP S/4 HANA.
Knowledge of Performance tuning, SAP FICO, FS-CD, FS-RI functional modules.
Proficiency in ABAP Workbench, Eclipse, OData, CDS views, object‑oriented ABAP, SAP BTP services.
Understanding of SAP BTP, CAP, UI5/Fiori, Integration Suite, DevOps practices.
SAP certification (ABAP, BTP, or AI/ML) and experience with S/4HANA migrations or greenfield implementations.
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
