Job Summary
Physician – OB/GYN Faculty (Residency) at Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital, Pensacola, FL. Full‑time (40 hours/week) with on‑call as needed.
Location Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital, Pensacola, FL — designated Health Professional Shortage Area / Medically Underserved Area.
Practice Details Full‑spectrum, high‑volume OB/GYN multi‑provider office. Electronic Medical Record: Cerner/Athena.

Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients using appropriate diagnostic and treatment skills.
Recommend and participate in cost‑effectiveness and quality improvement initiatives.
Accept patient referrals and serve as admitting, attending, or consulting physician as needed.
Participate in academic programs (education, research) as requested.
Provide documentation that meets insurance requirements; appeal denials in a timely manner.
Participate in inpatient and outpatient specialty consultation, including on‑call duties.
Requirements
Licensed MD/DO in Florida with board eligibility or certification in OB/GYN.
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) credential preferred.
Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy required.
Qualifications & Preferences
Experience in a high‑volume OB/GYN practice.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
