The Role Our Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) II will design, implement, and maintain scalable and reliable systems and applications with a focus on automation, monitoring, and incident response to ensure high system availability and performance. This role collaborates with development teams and employs infrastructure‑as‑code principles. It combines software development and system administration skills to enhance overall system reliability and efficiency, including capacity planning, on‑call support, and documentation.
What Will You Do?
Build and scale the technology infrastructure to meet rapidly increasing demand.
Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to launch new features and services.
Deliver automation solutions for deployment, monitoring, management, and incident response.
Develop and improve operational practices and procedures.
Participate in incident response and resolution activities, including root cause analysis, to minimize downtime and prevent future occurrences.
Coach more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities.
What Will You Bring?
BA/BS Degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline (preferred but not mandatory).
4‑6 years in a site reliability, dev ops, or systems engineering position.
Intermediate knowledge of cloud service operations, including data assurance, monitoring, alerting, and notifications.
Intermediate knowledge of infrastructure‑as‑code.
Intermediate knowledge of containers and orchestration platforms.
Intermediate knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery.
Demonstrated ability to manage cloud‑native environments.
Problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
Intermediate proficiency in a programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, Bash, or Go) and ability to write and understand code for automating tasks.
Pay Scale $130,000 - $135,000
Bonus This position is eligible for a bonus under the current bonus plan requirements.
