Role: Research Technician II
Your main responsibilities
Support research projects focused on the structural biology of macromolecular complexes involved in DNA repair processes.
Perform protein purification, reconstitution, and structure determination of DNA‑protein complexes using cryo‑EM.
Develop functional biochemical assays to assess and determine the mechanism of action of multi‑subunit protein complexes.
Contribute intellectual insight into biological questions and collaborate closely with team members.
Apply expertise to a well‑resourced biotechnology environment pursuing basic and drug‑discovery questions.
What we are looking for
BS/MS degree with 3‑5 years of experience or PhD with up to 2 years in Biochemistry, Chemical Biology, Structural Biology, or a related field.
Hands‑on experience designing and optimizing purification of challenging protein targets (including complexes) for structural/functional studies.
Experience developing functional biochemical and biophysical assays.
Experience with cryo‑EM sample and grid preparation (beneficial).
Experience with mammalian cell culture functional assays (beneficial).
