Senior Vice President of Actuarial Operations , you will be a pivotal member of the executive leadership team, directly reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and collaborating with cross-functional teams in finance, underwriting, risk, and technology to facilitate profitable growth and sustainability. Leadership & Strategy:

Provide visionary leadership for all actuarial functions and set long-term strategic objectives aligned with the overall goals of the company. Offer insights and advice to the CEO, CFO, and Board regarding reserving adequacy and capital allocation. Pricing Strategies:

Spearhead the development and oversight of pricing methodologies and models to ensure competitive positioning and sustainable profitability across various programs. Reserving & Financial Reporting:

Manage loss reserving practices and financial projections, ensuring timely data for financial statements and regulatory filings. Risk Management:

Collaborate with finance and underwriting teams to assess portfolio risks, optimize reinsurance arrangements, and enhance enterprise risk management practices through stress-testing and scenario modeling. Program Analytics:

Assess the actuarial soundness of both new and existing programs, weighing risk against return to facilitate informed decision-making. Regulatory Compliance:

Ensure adherence to actuarial standards and state and federal regulations, acting as Appointed Actuary when required. Data & Technology:

Champion the integration of advanced analytics, modeling, and automation tools to streamline actuarial workflows and drive strategic insights. Team Development:

Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing actuarial team fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement. Executive Communication:

Prepare clear, impactful reports and presentations for the CEO, executive team, and Board of Directors, translating complex actuarial insights into actionable business strategies. What We’re Looking For: We seek a visionary actuarial leader with substantial experience who can excel in a fast-paced, high-growth setting. Experience:

15+ years in actuarial roles within property & casualty insurance; proven expertise in pricing, reserving, and capital management, along with prior leadership experience. Credentials:

Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) or equivalent; Membership in the American Academy of Actuaries (MAAA) is highly favored. Education:

Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, actuarial science, or a related discipline; advanced degrees are a plus. Technical Skills:

Proficient in actuarial modeling, predictive analytics, and adept with Excel, actuarial software, and data visualization tools. Strategic Vision:

Ability to align actuarial insights with business strategies and growth objectives. Collaboration Skills:

Proven capacity to engage effectively with executive peers and influence decision-making at the Board and C-suite levels. Communication:

Excellent communicator with a strong executive presence, able to distill complex concepts into clear, actionable insights. Mindset:
