About the Role The

Director of Business Development

plays a key role in driving Showcore’s continued growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing new client relationships. Reporting to the

Vice President of Partnerships , this role combines strategic selling, client engagement, and creative problem-solving to bring new business opportunities to life.

You’ll be responsible for

building relationships, developing proposals, crafting pitches, and leading the onboarding process for new clients

— all while representing Showcore’s commitment to excellence and collaboration.

This is a

salary + commission position with full benefits , ideal for someone who thrives on achievement, creativity, and connection.

What You’ll Do

Drive New Business: Identify and pursue new client opportunities across target industries and markets.

Develop Proposals & Pitches: Create compelling proposals, presentations, and pitch materials tailored to client needs.

Build Relationships: Cultivate trust and credibility with clients through consultative, relationship-based selling.

Collaborate Internally: Work closely with production, creative, and marketing teams to align on solutions and ensure client success.

Lead Onboarding: Oversee smooth handoff and integration of new clients into Showcore’s service process.

Travel for Growth: Represent Showcore at client meetings, industry events, and trade shows.

Meet and Exceed Goals: Consistently hit sales targets and pipeline objectives through disciplined follow-up and strategic selling.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or client partnerships, preferably in live events, experiential marketing, or creative services.

Proven success in consultative and solution-based selling with measurable revenue results.

Strong presentation, proposal writing, and negotiation skills.

Excellent communication, relationship management, and organizational abilities.

Confidence in CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce) and pipeline management.

Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and prospects.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field.
