Job Description
Ascension Global Staffing & Executive Search is seeking Corporate Partner-Level Attorneys for its client's New York office.
Ideal candidate will advise on all legal aspects of cross-border and multi-jurisdictional mergers and acquisitions and private equity projects in Latin America; draft and negotiate key transaction agreements as a lead attorney, liaise with the Firm's clients with regard to complex cross-border and multijurisdictional transactions and projects, including for private equity sponsors.
Must have J.D. or foreign equivalent and 5 years of experience with:
advising corporate clients on complex cross-border and multijurisdictional M&A related to companies located in Latin America;
advising private equity sponsors on a variety of funds and transactional projects in Latin America;
drafting and negotiating transaction documents for M&A deals for both private equity clients as well as strategic clients;
coordinating and supervising local and multijurisdictional due diligence teams;
preparing legal memoranda and analyzing the legal feasibility of transactional structures;
participating in tax structuring of M&A transaction.
Must be licensed to practice law in New York.
Salary range: $480,000 - $650,000 per year.
