Position Purpose Seeking world‑class talent to support our 5,500+ locations and 20,000+ locations across the U.S. and Canada. This senior engineer role focuses on delivering a multi‑year transformation initiative for our 53 NAPA DCs, designing and coding application functionality to meet DC requirements. You will own design, development, testing, implementation, and optimization of warehouse management solutions using Manhattan’s Active WMS.

Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert within the Manhattan Associates suite of applications (MA Active WM Platform).

Serve as a subject matter expert for all DC automation systems (WES, MHE) integrating with MA Active WM.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.

Optimize warehouse operations by developing and implementing best practices and process improvements.

Provide technical guidance and support to the implementation team.

Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements to improve productivity.

Conduct workshop sessions to ensure effective use of the system.

Stay updated with Manhattan Active new product releases (innovations) in warehouse management.

Be self‑sufficient, completing tasks competently and efficiently based on priority.

Provide guidance for automation testing and performance testing for MA Active WM application.

Develop test plans for unit and systems testing.

Verify the stability of code deliverables (SDN & Config) from Manhattan and assess production impact.

Document all modifications and maintain system‑level documentation.

Assist in developing and maintaining departmental system standards.

Support and troubleshoot issues with the assistance of functional analysts.

Travel 30–40% of the time as part of DC implementation.

Other duties as assigned.

Location

Choose between Duluth or Atlanta office.

Desired Qualifications & Experiences

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field, or equivalent work experience.

Minimum 2 years of experience developing workflows within Manhattan WMS (WMOS, MAWM) applications, working with WES and MHE implementations (5–7 years preferred).

Experience with Host (ERP) – WMS integrations using Manhattan Integration Framework (MIF).

Knowledge of integrating warehouse management systems with other equipment and systems such as WCS, TMS, ShipExec.

Creative & critical thinking and ability to drive results in resolving complex projects or tasks.

Full understanding of technical skills needed regarding SQL, Google Cloud Platform.

Excellent internal and external customer service skills and effective communication.

Project management, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.

Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to work well under pressure, independently or within a team.

Exceptional follow‑up and attention to detail.
