Imaging Clerical Representative Boulder Community Health, Boulder, CO 80303 $20.90 - $29.02 an hour - Per Diem, Various shifts and hours per week **Range includes per diem differential. +$2.00/hr for evening and weekend shifts. Boulder Community Health is seeking an Imaging Clerical Representative who is responsible for facilitating the smooth and accurate flow of patients and information for the Imaging reception and file room areas. This position will ensure excellent customer service to patients, families, and other customers, as well as, work closely with patient access to facilitate service and information. Responsibilities •Promptly and courteously greets and receives Imaging patients, visitors, physicians and other guests •Serves as a liaison between the Access Department and Imaging by facilitating prompt, accurate service. This includes the effective communication of delays and appointment information, as well as all service issues. •Assists with general inquiry and/or needs, gives directions and escorts (or delegates escort) patients to their destination. •Answers incoming calls promptly and directs them to the appropriate area. •Maintain knowledge of all Imaging modalities, exams, and preps to field or refer patient questions appropriately. •Knowledge of Epic and the patient chart, ROI process, scanning •Ability to locate and research orders using the software and resources provided. •Manage Imaging Department Worklist (DAR) •Provides appropriate paperwork to patients before their exam, Distributes contrast to patients with upcoming scheduled exams.
