Role Overview We’re seeking a

Director of Sales

to lead revenue growth across the

consumer market

and

new verticals

such as fleet, aftermarket, and industrial sectors. This role will focus on building scalable sales channels and partnerships that bring EVident Battery’s diagnostic technology from the lab to consumers, service networks, and industrial operators. You will shape how our products reach end users—directly and through distribution—and pioneer new market segments for future growth.

Key Responsibilities

Consumer Market Expansion: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies for EV owners, service centers, and repair networks. Build partnerships with online marketplaces, e-commerce platforms, and resellers.

Channel Development: Establish and manage retail and B2B2C channels, including distributors, service providers, and integrators.

Vertical Growth: Identify and scale new revenue streams in sectors such as fleets, insurance, renewable energy storage, heavy equipment, and marine/rail applications.

Product-Market Fit: Work with product and engineering teams to tailor offerings for consumer and vertical needs—pricing, packaging, and feature sets.

Partnership & Alliances: Build relationships with key ecosystem partners (OEMs, EV service networks, fleet managers, and data platforms) to expand adoption.

Brand & Marketing Alignment: Collaborate with marketing to refine messaging, campaigns, and launches for each customer segment.

Sales Leadership: Manage the full sales funnel—pipeline creation, forecasting, negotiation, and closing. Establish repeatable sales processes and performance metrics.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in consumer product sales, channel development, or vertical expansion—preferably in EV, automotive, mobility, or connected hardware/software industries.

Proven success launching or scaling new market categories.

Strong understanding of omni-channel sales and digital consumer engagement.Experience building partnerships and negotiating agreements with distributors or platform partners.

Proficiency with CRM and outreach tools (e.g., HubSpot or Salesforce; Outreach, Salesloft, Apollo, and LinkedIn Sales Navigator) with data-driven pipeline hygiene, sequencing, A/B testing, and reporting.

Entrepreneurial mindset with hands-on execution ability in early-stage environments.

Excellent communication and presentation skills.
