Product Design Lead – New Customer Experience | San Francisco, CA (Hybrid, Full-Time) Location:

San Francisco, CA (3 days/week in office)

Compensation:

$165K–$289K + Competitive Equity

Our client is a leading workforce management platform, transforming how companies run by unifying people, processes, and systems on a single dynamic platform.

About the role:

As Product Design Lead (New Customer Experience), you’ll own the critical first mile of the customer journey—from creating a company to adding users, setting up products, and importing data. Your work will define how quickly and confidently new customers find success.

What You’ll Do:

Own the entire post-signup journey for new customers.

Design and refine the initial company setup checklist and process.

Lead the “census” experience for loading employees manually or via automated import.

Create end-to-end setup experiences for standalone products (IT, Spend, etc.), considering different user personas.

Develop platform-level building blocks and reusable patterns for consistent onboarding across products.

Collaborate with individual product teams to implement shared onboarding components effectively.

What You’ll Bring:

8+ years of hands‑on product design experience in both startup and large tech environments.

Shipped products from concept through iteration and delivery.

Proven ability to think in systems and simplify complexity.
