We are seeking a Site Civil Engineer to join our dynamic Florida Team in one of the following office locations: Gainesville, Orlando, Jacksonville, and Tampa. In this role you will support water and wastewater infrastructure design projects and contribute to transformative projects that improve communities and the environment.
Responsibilities
Preparing planning/study documents, preliminary and detailed designs, permitting packages, and engineering reports.
Designing site civil layouts, grading, drainage (hydrology and hydraulics), utilities, and erosion control systems.
Reviewing designs and collaborating with project teams from concept through construction.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET‑accredited program.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
Proven experience in:
Site layout
Grading and drainage design
Stormwater design
Utility and conveyance layout and design
Roadway and pavement design
Erosion and sedimentation control design
Stormwater pollution prevention plan (SWPPP) development
Experience assembling and reviewing construction drawings and specifications.
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in Florida or ability to obtain within 6 months of employment.
Ideally, Here’s What You’ll Also Have
Proficiency with CADD tools such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D.
Familiarity with one or more of the following drainage modeling software: StormWise, Storm & Sanitary, Culvert Master, Flow Master.
