Reporting This position reports to: Engineering Manager.
Role Overview As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be the technical lead and/or design authority for process automation engineering projects in renewable, oil & gas, chemical, power generation, and water treatment industries, both in U.S. and global projects. You will make technical recommendations and enhance customer satisfaction by providing excellent service.
Your responsibilities include:
Ensure successful Distributed Control System delivery of multiple projects on time, within budget, and in line with specifications and quality and safety guidelines.
Cooperate with the customer to shape and deliver solutions while seeking customer feedback to drive improvements.
Create work plans and cost estimates for the portfolio of projects and ensure quality, timely implementation within targeted cost.
Coordinate with relevant functions to ensure designs are appropriately manufactured, staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.
Coach engineering colleagues on translating conceptual designs to engineering documentation, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or other engineering degree.
8 or more years of experience in engineering, working as an Engineer with Distributed Control Systems.
Sound knowledge of engineering techniques, processes, and tools.
Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident of the USA.
Position will be based in Houston, TX.
Reimbursement for relocation is not available.
Work Model & Location Work model: Hybrid. Location: Houston, TX. Contributing to the Process Automation, Energy Industries Division.
