RTD . The position analyzes a wide variety of divisional data and information using statistical methods. May work in collaboration with leaders to determine and address data reporting needs. Creates programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data to stakeholders. Examines and tests data quality and the applications of organization data. May be involved in researching new data sources and analytical tools. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Leads collection, structuring and data modeling to support comprehensive quantitative and qualitative reports; collaborates with leadership team to understand data needs and appropriately plan reporting across various data sets. Partners with data owners and leaders to ensure data is correct, reliable, and complete, visualized appropriately, and assists in gathering insight into business decisions based off of data. Critically evaluates information gathered to reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding of true needs. Identifies challenges and areas of risk through trend analysis and researches solutions to address issues, performance measurement and evaluation; recommends new ways to measure business process improvements and assists in establishing new processes based on operational needs. Supports division personnel by maintaining data utilized in statistical and quantitative analyses to ensure compliance with organizational initiatives as well as State and Federal mandates. Supports division administration on an as-needed basis. All job-related duties as assigned. QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Business Intelligence, Analytics or closely related field from an accredited college or university. A minimum of three years of experience in analyzing and evaluating business processes and developing reports. A minimum of two years of professional experience in transit operations principles, practices, and policies and procedures preferred. Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in developing reports in an analytics-reporting tool that interfaces with a database. Ability to identify useful information in data sets and suggest conclusions that support decision making. Proficiency in business writing and developing and facilitating presentations. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI. Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing. Ability to use sound judgment. Ability to manage time and workload effectively which includes planning, organizing, and prioritizing with attention to details. An equivalent combination of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities. WORKING ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
