Base pay range $115,000.00/yr - $155,000.00/yr
Successful candidates should have the following
5+ years of public accounting experience
2-4+ years of supervisory or management experience
Broad understanding of Tax Law with specialized knowledge in partnerships, HNW individuals, corporations, pass‑throughs, entities, estate and gift tax, investment advisory, and financial planning
Ability to prepare working trial balance and year‑end adjusting entries
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or other business‑related fields
CPA certification is required
Strong technical skills in tax preparation, review, compliance, and research
Excellent analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Excel, Word, and CCH Axcess
Outstanding leadership, mentoring, and interpersonal skills
A day-in-the-life
Review high‑net‑worth individuals, partnerships, gift and estate returns, trust preparations, joint ventures, non‑corporate entity tax returns, combined state tax returns, and tax compliance
Review complex individual tax returns
Manage and develop income tax and financial planning clients
Collaborate with tax partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business development activities
Maintain active communication with clients to manage expectations, ensure satisfaction, meet deadlines, and lead change efforts
Consult and recommend business and process improvements, acting as a business adviser
Supervise and drive success of multiple engagements in partnership and individual taxation
Prepare year‑end projections
Research tax issues
Mentor associates and guide them on tax matters
Maintain strong presentation skills (oral and written)
