About the Role As a Lead Solution Architect within our Data & AI Practice, you will leverage a client‑centric approach to understand our clients’ challenges and opportunities, delivering solutions and services that make transformative change and drive high value business outcomes. You will engage in solutioning and support on the most strategic opportunities, intervene in high‑risk complex deliveries, and help shape the strategic direction using data platforms, reporting, self‑service analytics, real‑time intelligence, and AI engineering.
Responsibilities
Lead solutioning and technical leadership for client projects, working closely with delivery teams and client stakeholders.
Shape deals and propositions, drive architectural decisions, and produce high‑level design artifacts.
Play a key role in the sales process by creating innovative solutions that inspire and win new business.
Provide coaching and mentoring to junior colleagues across the organization.
Translate complex technical concepts and present them to senior stakeholders and business leaders.
Engage in early conversations with clients and/or sales teams, support origination, deal qualification, and solutioning.
Work collaboratively with Data & AI leadership to shape future offerings, accelerators, and background IP.
Drive best‑practice methodologies for AI development, including data management, model training, fine‑tuning, and deployment.
Lead the development of data and analytics platforms, real‑time intelligence, and reporting solutions using Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure Data Services, Fabric, and Databricks.
Identify cross‑industry solutions at scale and execute on initiatives such as data migration, automation migration, and platform modernization.
Drive measurable and sustained growth across the Data & AI Solution Area.
Integrate Data & AI into other global solution areas and manage multi‑year engagements.
Skills & Experience
Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft and Databricks.
Experience in Data, Applied Intelligence, Automation, IoT, and related technologies.
Awareness of channels to market and ability to work within the Microsoft and partner ecosystem.
High energy intent to help clients understand the fast‑moving AI industry and product evolution.
Experience creating technical visions, high‑level architectures, and delivery roadmaps for large AI programs.
Deep understanding of responsible data platform and migration principles, regulatory frameworks, and risk management.
Capability in creating design artifacts for approval at architectural forums with multi‑disciplinary stakeholders.
In‑depth knowledge of modern Data & AI capabilities such as structured/unstructured data analysis, streaming data, IoT, AI, GenAI, and related analytics fields.
Designing and delivering large‑scale Data Platform solutions using Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Fabric, Cloud‑Scale Analytics, etc.; identifying key architectural characteristics of performance, security, and reliability.
Comfortable with engaging and leading sales and business development opportunities with clients.
About You
Passionate about tech and engaging with and advising clients.
Advanced degree in a quantitative field (computer science, applied mathematics, statistics, machine learning) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven success in consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design, implementation, and support of highly distributed applications for large enterprise accounts.
Strong collaborative communication skills and ability to influence remote teams.
Resilient, adaptable, flexible, humble leader, master negotiator, and relationship builder.
Pay Range Chicago, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Sacramento, San Diego: $150,400 to $188,000
Baltimore, Boston, Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington DC: $155,200 to $194,000
New York, Bay Area: $164,800 to $206,000
All other cities: $139,200 to $174,000
