Job Title: Business Analyst with Scrum methodologies (CSPO certified)
Location: Wilmington, Delaware (5 Days onsite)
Contract Type: Long-term Contract
Job Summary We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with a strong background in Scrum methodologies, particularly as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO). The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between stakeholders and development teams, ensuring that business needs are effectively translated into actionable requirements. This position requires a proactive individual who can thrive in a fast-paced environment and contribute to the successful delivery of projects.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
Utilize CSPO knowledge to prioritize product backlogs and define user stories that align with business objectives.
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand‑ups, and retrospectives, to ensure effective team collaboration.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to inform product development and enhancements.
Develop and maintain project documentation, including requirement specifications, process flows, and user acceptance criteria.
Support the testing process by defining test cases and ensuring that deliverables meet quality standards.
Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to stakeholders, addressing any issues or risks that may arise.
Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement and contribute to the overall efficiency of the team.
Mandatory Skills
Strong knowledge and certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO).
Proficiency in business analysis techniques and methodologies.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
Experience in creating user stories, acceptance criteria, and product backlogs.
Ability to facilitate Scrum ceremonies and promote Agile best practices within the team.
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with project management tools such as JIRA, Trello, or similar.
Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Experience in conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) and gathering feedback.
Knowledge of data analysis and visualization tools.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
Certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) is mandatory.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
