From our southern NH campus, Countermeasure & Electromagnetic Attack Solutions is seeking a talented, motivated Hardware Test Lead who wants to join an organization where teamwork is highly valued. You will be joining an Agile engineering team at a dynamic company that values technical excellence and a healthy work environment to design, develop, and produce the world’s most advanced electronics.
Responsibilities
Lead multi‑discipline, state‑of‑the‑art hardware teams of 10+ people through the hardware engineering design and development.
Employ your expertise, decision skills, and independent judgment in technical areas.
Lead Design Review activities to achieve program success.
Communicate essential information and coordinate with engineering disciplines, procurement, operations, and program management.
Develop program schedules, earned value criteria, and productivity metrics for efficient performance.
Ensure the established Hardware Development Process is implemented successfully.
Support important program capture and proposal teams with hardware baselines that include development and cost/scheduling estimating.
Work with Discipline Section Leads to determine program staffing needs and “right person/right job”.
Required Education, Experience, & Skills
BSEE or BSME with 6+ years engineering experience, with 2 years commensurate experience leading engineering teams.
Possess technical leadership practices for multi‑disciplinary engineering teams engaged in the design and development of state‑of‑the‑art electro‑mechanical products and hardware test equipment.
Possess technical leadership practices to lead a team of disciplines which include Mechanical (ME), Electrical (EE), Firmware (EE), Design Drafting (DD).
Proven experience in developing, implementing, and monitoring project schedules, budgets, and productivity metrics to ensure efficient team performance.
Proven experience in implementing established Hardware Engineering design processes to achieve product quality and consistency.
Possess sound interpersonal communication skills involving interfacing with company personnel, customers, and suppliers.
Experience supporting new business capture and proposal teams with development of hardware engineering cost/schedule estimates.
Capable of exercising independent discretion and judgment in the performance of engineering duties.
Ability to prepare appropriate reports, documents, and presentations for internal/external distribution.
Ability to develop and implement design solutions, processes, and systems within budget and schedule requirements and lead others to closure.
Experience with design and development of products and services using state‑of‑the‑art engineering technologies, principles, theories, and concepts.
Eligible to obtain a DOD Security Clearance.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
Certification for Earned Value Management System (EVMS) project management techniques.
Designing to cost (DTUPC) constraints.
Designing for manufacturability.
Experience developing compact embedded systems for harsh environments.
Familiarity with AS9145 compliant processes.
Experience with Electronic Warfare systems, radar systems.
Active Secret Clearance.
Pay Information Full‑Time Salary Range: $112,420 – $191,070. This range is based on our market pay structures. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
