About the Role As a CBRE Sr Property Manager, you will lead all aspects of a complex property or multi‑owner portfolio of commercial, industrial or retail properties, coordinating marketing, operations and financial activities. This role includes operating buildings on behalf of a client or group.

What You’ll Do

Provide formal supervision to employees, monitor staff training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching, and lead all recruiting and hiring.

Respond to tenant needs, ensuring administrative and building technical staff resolve problems promptly and comply with policies, procedures, regulations and contractual obligations.

Perform periodic property inspections, recommend and approve alterations, maintenance and reconditioning, and contract for and supervise vendor services.

Coordinate tenant move‑ins and move‑outs, and conduct walk‑throughs with tenants and the tenant improvement department.

Serve as primary contact with property owners to ensure objectives are met, and prepare and deliver timely, accurate reports.

Develop and control annual budgets for operating and capital expenses; forecast management plans and prepare monthly performance reports, explaining variances.

Collect rent and pay expenses in compliance with lease terms, prepare all required legal notices, and recommend and coordinate legal action as necessary.

Review and reconcile tenant rent and Common Area Maintenance (CAM) recovery charges.

Develop business relationships by participating in professional, industry/trade and civic organizations.

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s Degree preferred with 5‑8 years of relevant experience; in lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.

Real Estate license if state required.

Ability to lead the exchange of sensitive, complicated, and difficult information, conveying performance expectations and handling problems.

Leadership skills to motivate the team to achieve broad operational targets with impacts on own job field, multiple job subject areas, and department.

In‑depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).

Extensive organizational skills and an advanced inquisitive mentality.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Senior Property Manager position is $170,000 annually and the maximum is $180,000 annually. Compensation is based on skills, qualifications and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s benefit program. Benefits include 401(k), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
