Senior Reliability Engineer
Location: Houston, TX | Salary: $90,000.00 – $150,000.00 Key Responsibilities
Provide expert technical support for all rotating equipment, including compressors, pumps, turbines, and fans. Serve as the primary reliability resource for critical assets, ensuring optimal performance and minimal unplanned downtime. Lead predictive maintenance programs using vibration analysis, infrared thermography, ultrasonics, and oil analysis. Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and implement corrective and preventive actions. Drive reliability improvement initiatives using APM strategies and advanced diagnostic tools. Mentor and train mechanics, operators, and junior engineers on reliability practices and equipment troubleshooting. Support turnaround, project, and Management of Change (MOC) activities while ensuring compliance with API standards, company engineering practices, and safety regulations. Maintain accurate documentation, performance metrics, and reliability reports for assigned assets. Qualifications
15–20 years of experience in rotating equipment reliability or maintenance engineering. Proficiency in predictive maintenance tools (vibration, infrared, ultrasonic, oil analysis). Knowledge of RCFA, RCM, and APM practices. Certifications such as CRE or Rotating Equipment Specialist are a plus. Experience with site-specific safety requirements, including HASC, TWIC Card, and standard PPE. Strong leadership, mentoring, and communication skills. Seniority Level
