Senior Project Manager, Unified Communications

to join our team in

Belcamp, MD.

This position is responsible for providing oversight, guidance, and direction to all contracted team members supporting Unified Communications technologies for a federal agency. This role ensures the successful management of the UC contract effort, encompassing project initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, and control of all collaborative activities. This lead will play a critical role in representing the team to leadership, creating essential reports and documentation, and ensuring compliance with deliverables

Key Responsibilities

Provide oversight, guidance, direction, and leadership to all contracted team members assigned to Unified Communications support.

Deliver briefings to leadership and create reports and documentation on demand.

Ensure compliance with deliverables and serve as the interface between the federal agency and the team members.

Bear overall responsibility for the success of the UC contract team effort, including managing staff and project phases.

Assist in the creation of UC guidelines, policies, standards, and procedures.

Possess a good understanding of all UC systems, architecture, technologies, and related activities.

Provide recommendations to the team and the federal agency's Federal team on unified communications activities and actions.

Required Qualifications

10+ years of experience within the Unified Communications field, having significant work experience related to VoIP systems and video teleconferencing systems and leading a UC team.

Demonstrated experience in automation of tasks using relevant technologies.

CTS Certification

CTS-D Certification

CTS-I Certification

CCNA Certification

Clearance Requirement

Must be a US Citizen with the ability to pass a USCIS background investigation (Public Trust).

Physical Requirements

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%

Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer

The person in this position needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
