Solution Architect for Life Insurance Business Process Services

Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of scalable, high‑quality business solutions, inclusive of IT, for external clients
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, translating business needs into defined solution requirements and scope
Serve as a business and technical subject matter expert in solution architecture, development, integration, and implementation
Leverage DXC go‑to‑market solutions
Lead and coordinate efforts from Service Line Architects to define, document, and govern solution architecture
Facilitate the transfer of pursuit solution to delivery teams, ensuring alignment with internal delivery capabilities
Estimate sizing and costing for architected solutions, aligning commercial components (e.g., SOWs, project plans) with technical solutions
Present architectural solutions to clients, establishing confidence and credibility
Collaborate with software and BPS solution architects to ensure alignment with standards and best practices
Provide business and technical guidance, mentorship, and support to solution architects and project teams
Evaluate and recommend technology solutions that enhance business outcomes
Promote a culture of innovation, teamwork, and continuous improvement
Communicate effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience
8+ years of relevant industry experience, including at least 3 years in a similar architectural or technical leadership role
Proven experience in leading architecture projects and cross‑functional teams
Strong problem‑solving and project management capabilities
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder engagement skills
Experience working in the Life Insurance industry is preferred
Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong client relationships
Familiarity with commercial aspects of client engagements (e.g., contracts, pricing, delivery planning)
Experience implementing cloud‑based solutions in an enterprise setting
Preferred Qualifications
Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
Relevant industry certifications such as TOGAF, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, or similar
