About the Position We are searching for a Senior Architect to join our growing Architecture team in one of the following Pond offices: Atlanta, GA; Savannah, GA; Jacksonville, FL; Columbia, SC; Charlotte, NC; New Orleans, LA; Denver, CO.
The ideal candidate possesses 10+ years of related architectural design experience and is eager to grow, collaborate, and innovate. This role involves preparing architectural designs, scale drawings, and contract documents, following project design guides and templates, researching materials and assembling details, and mentoring junior/mid‑level engineering professionals. Design projects span multiple markets and geographies, offering opportunities to broaden knowledge and deepen skill sets related to building systems design.
Responsibilities
Prepare architectural designs, scale drawings, and contract documents.
Follow project design guides and templates, researching materials and assembling details.
Mentor junior/mid‑level engineering professionals.
Support proposal efforts and collaborate across diverse teams.
Move quickly and efficiently through design stages, from concept plans to construction documentation.
Experience & Qualifications
BArch (5‑year program) or MArch (6‑year program) from an accredited college or university
10+ years of related architectural design experience (including internship, co‑op or professional experience)
Experience in Education and/or Local Government preferred
Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD and related software
Registered Architect License required
Strong teamwork skills, positive attitude, and self‑motivation to produce high‑quality work
Desire to learn and grow professionally
