Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building and maintaining scalable microservices and RESTful APIs. As a Java Backend Developer, you will design, develop, and deploy server-side logic, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the frontend.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and scalable backend systems using Java.
Build and optimize microservices architecture for enhanced performance and reliability.
Develop RESTful APIs to support various business functionalities and integrate them with frontend services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend developers, product managers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following industry best practices.
Implement security and data protection measures.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to backend services and APIs.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in backend development and microservices architecture.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
7+ years of proven experience as a Java Backend Developer or similar role.
Node.js experience (Must have).
Writing web servers.
Developing middleware for the web server.
Good understanding of encryption and use of encryption libraries.
Good understanding of encoding/decoding.
Security-conscious awareness of common pitfalls.
Working experience with serverless technologies in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
Good understanding of serverless architecture.
Understanding of NoSQL databases, e.g., DynamoDB.
Strong understanding of data structures.
Familiarity with data structures such as FHIR R4 is a plus.
Writing web hooks.
Familiarity with cron-like operations using EventBridge is a plus.
Good to have Python.
