CNC & Maintenance Technician

Hourly Rate: $28 - $30/hour Regular shift: 5AM 1:30PM Monday through Friday, Saturday Work from 5AM to 11AM most Saturdays - Must be flexible to work off production hours throughout the week and other weekends days and times as needed. Job Tasks:

Perform highly mechanical duties to install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems, and processes. Perform electrical maintenance and repairs on industrial equipment and facility electrical troubleshooting and installation. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of CNC and production machines. Perform Preventive and Predictive Maintenance on CNC machines and production equipment and ensure timely completion using Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Execute regular work orders assigned by Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) Analyze breakdowns for possible root causes and identify solutions to prevent in the future. Ensure compliance of safety program while performing work Support lean activities both within the Manufacturing Services Department and across the organization. Ability to work any shift when called upon, including weekends and nights Demonstrate a personable, positive, and enthusiastic attitude Report unsafe acts or conditions to supervision immediately as noticed Initiate corrective action requests when conditions are averse to quality Complete, inspect and distribute all quality records and documents, as necessary Participate in Lean events with active involvement in CI initiatives Understand and follow verbal and written instruction Job Requirements:

Minimum Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment 5+ years of experience in electrical and mechanical repairs and troubleshooting industrial equipment Electrical Skills - AC Systems Ability to read/interpret electrical prints. Wire simple 110V 1-phase, 220V-3 phase, 480V 3-phase circuits. Troubleshoot electrical circuits. Electrical Skills - DC Systems Ability to read/interpret electrical prints. Wire simple 12V or 24V circuits. Wire photo-eye or proximity sensors Troubleshoot electrical circuits with sensors. Pneumatic Skills Maintaining, diagnosing and troubleshooting and replacing pneumatic systems. Understand operation of 2, 3, and 4-way valves Understand operation of single/double acting cylinders Hydraulic Systems Maintain, diagnosing, troubleshooting and replacing hydraulic components and equipment. Mechanical Skills Replace gearboxes and motors. Replace bearings and chain drives. Basic conveyor adjustment Experience with micrometers, calipers, and common shop tools Experience with M-Codes and G-Codes Experience with scissor lift and forklifts Familiar with JSA, LOTO, confined space and NFPA 70 e Experience working on CNC Machines such as Mazak, Haas, DMG-Mori and Okuma preferred. Strong working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, machine controls and PLC controllers Ability to read electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams. Basic familiarity with Outlook and CMMS software Excellent organizational, verbal, written, communication and customer service skills. Ability to multi-task Solid working knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures, Highly disciplined, problem-solver, logical thinking, troubleshooting team player with strong work ethic. Commitment to work overtime as needed (e.g. last-minute repairs, weekends) Maintain appropriate levels of daily attendance, initiative and productivity. Driven, self-starter and dedicated to safety, quality, and continual process improvement. Comply with all federal, state, local and company safety requirements. Must be self-motivated and disciplined to work autonomously with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications

Technical / Vocational School Electrical certification Experience in the oil and gas industry Basic math and analytical skills PLC programming experience Solid technical skills to understand computerized measuring machines and metalworking processes. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing documents. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, ISO 9001
