The
QA Associate II
will support and oversee Third Party Quality operations at the Massachusetts BioCampus, ensuring that all external partnerships meet the organization's quality standards and regulatory expectations. This role focuses on
material compliance -specifically single-use systems and component materials-and involves collaborating closely with suppliers to investigate quality events, address material defects, and manage supplier-initiated changes. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage
Supplier Change Notification (SCN)
processes, ensuring timely assessment and communication of supplier-initiated changes. Conduct and support
third-party quality event investigations , coordinating with suppliers to determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Maintain and review
quality agreements
with external suppliers; ensure documentation accuracy and compliance with internal and regulatory standards. Collaborate cross-functionally with
Quality Control (QC), Facilities, and Manufacturing
teams to resolve supplier-related compliance issues. Support supplier oversight programs, audits, and compliance reviews to ensure adherence to cGMP and regulatory requirements. Prepare and manage quality documentation within
Veeva or equivalent Quality Management Systems (QMS) . Enter manufacturing and warehouse areas as required; must be able to gown per GMP standards. Qualifications
Must Have: Bachelor's degree and
6+ years of applicable Quality or Operations experience
within a biotech/pharmaceutical cGMP manufacturing environment. Strong understanding of
supplier quality ,
material compliance , and
quality investigations . Proven ability to manage external partners and maintain compliance within an
FDA-regulated industry . Nice to Have:
Experience with
Veeva QMS ,
supplier compliance programs ,
quality agreements , and
supplier change notifications . Familiarity with global pharmaceutical regulations (US, EU, Canada, Japan, Australia). Excellent communication and collaboration skills across technical and quality teams. Additional Information This position reports to the
Head of Supplier Governance . Role primarily involves coordination with smaller suppliers and vendors. Not a post-market compliance role-focus is
on material compliance and supplier quality . Pay Details:
$45.00 to $50.00 per hour
