Flexpool – Med/Surg Tele RN (must be willing to float to other med/surg/tele units)
Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Texas RN license required
At least 1 year of recent Med/Surg Tele RN experience
BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required
NIHSS certification preferred
Cerner charting experience preferred
Flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions allowed)
COVID-19 vaccine not required
Ability to float to other Med/Surg/Tele units
Local candidates within 50 miles not accepted
Resume required for submission
RN Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Tele patients
Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and progress
Administer prescribed medications and treatments
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for optimal patient outcomes
Float to other Med/Surg/Tele units as assigned
Maintain accurate charting using Cerner (preferred)
Participate in orientation and ongoing nurse training
