Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Massachusetts RN license (Registered Nurse)
BLS certification (American Heart Association)
Minimum 2 years of acute care hospital experience; Telemetry RN experience strongly preferred
Proficient in telemetry monitoring, cardiac drips, and interpreting tele strips
Experience with TR Band preferred
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system is a plus
Ability to float to multiple units, including Med/Surg Telemetry, Emergency Department (ED), Mental Health, and ICU step-down
Travel Telemetry RN Responsibilities
Float throughout the hospital to all Med/Surg Telemetry areas (Davenport 5, 7, 8, 9, ED, PH6/7, Pingree 4, Overflow)
Monitor cardiac rhythms, measure intervals, and interpret telemetry strips every 4 hours
Administer and manage cardiac drips for telemetry patients
Deliver care to a diverse patient population, including ED border patients, acute mental health patients, and non-vented ICU transfer-ready patients
Maintain accurate clinical documentation using EPIC EMR
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to provide high-quality patient care
Adapt to varying patient ratios (up to 6:1 on night shifts)
