Job Title: Shipping/Receiving

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Shipping/Receiving professional to operate sit-down forklifts and move materials efficiently throughout the plant and to designated shipping areas or warehouses. You will ensure materials are correctly placed, receive orders via FedEx/UPS, verify their accuracy upon arrival, and manage unpacking. Packing orders for shipping and stacking shipments on skids to transport them to the shipping dock will also be part of your duties. Additionally, you will help maintain the supply room area, enter inventory into the management system, conduct inventory counts, and load and unload trucks.

Responsibilities

Operate sit-down forklifts to move materials.

Ensure materials are correctly placed in designated areas.

Receive and verify orders from FedEx/UPS.

Unpack and pack orders for shipping.

Stack shipments on skids and transport them to the shipping dock.

Help maintain the supply room area.

Enter inventory into the management system.

Conduct inventory counts.

Load and unload trucks.

Essential Skills

1+ year of heavy industrial experience.

High school diploma or GED.

Experience in manufacturing environments.

Forklift operation skills.

Proficiency in computer skills for documentation and data entry.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Experience in shipping and receiving.

Ability to sort, order, and palletize materials in an industrial setting.

Work Environment

Work within a warehouse setting with a team size of up to 8 members. The dress code includes steel-toe boots/shoes. Available shifts include 7 AM - 3:30 PM and 8 AM - 4:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of HOPKINSVILLE, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.32 - $19.32/hr.
