Job Overview We’re seeking an experienced
Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP)
for a night-shift contract within a
Level IV NICU
at a leading hospital in New York City. This role offers the opportunity to provide advanced neonatal care in a collaborative, high-acuity environment supporting newborns and their families.
Ideal candidates are clinically strong, adaptable, and committed to delivering the highest standard of care in neonatal critical care settings.
Key Responsibilities Manage admissions and ongoing care for NICU patients, ensuring quality and continuity from stabilization through discharge Attend deliveries and provide immediate postnatal and resuscitative care for high-risk infants Perform or assist with advanced neonatal procedures such as intubations, umbilical and PIC line placements, arterial sticks, lumbar punctures, chest tubes, and exchange transfusions (as needed) Collaborate closely with attending physicians, fellows, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure evidence-based practice and effective communication Maintain thorough documentation of assessments, plans, and interventions using
Epic EMR
Position Details Shift:

1 Fellow and 1 Attending Physician per shift Call:

Requirements Active
New York State RN and NNP License
(required) Master’s Degree
and
NCC Certification
(required) Minimum
2 years of recent NNP experience
in a Level III or IV NICU COVID-19 and Flu Vaccinations required Proficiency in
Epic EMR

Full-time preferred; part-time candidates may be considered if able to commit to
a minimum of 6–7 shifts per month Travel Support:
Two roundtrip airfares per month, lodging, and $50/day transportation per diem (for travelers)
