Global Fund Finance ("GFF", the "Team") within the Capital Solutions Group (GBM Private) is a key driver of our Fixed Income Financing growth effort, a key part of the firm’s overall strategy. This unit is critical to continue growing our investing & lending footprint across all fund finance verticals (private credit, private equity, subscription finance, and the associated capital markets adjacent activities). Withthe projected AUM growth in the PE and Private Credit markets, Global Fund Finance is expected to be a continued area of growth and innovation for the firm.

Responsibilities and Qualifications Role GFF is a team across New York, London, Dallas, Boston, and Bengaluru which has functionality across structuring / trading, origination, and underwriting. The Team is currently seeking an experienced VP based in New York to work within the structuring / trading function.

Responsibilities

Be a primary driver of structuring and risk management / risk taking decisions across one or more verticals within the Team. Such responsibility will include leading transaction execution across the entire lifecycle (including commercial term negotiation, legal documentation negotiation, internal stakeholder management / approvals, post trade risk oversight).

Innovate with respect to new product development ideally leveraging prior experience in the broader structured finance market

Identify key trends in risk (both from a GS’ and client perspective), and develop mechanisms to manage and monitor such risks

Evaluate the credit, funding, and capital implications of complex structured loans and derivatives

Qualifications

6+ years of relevant experience

Excellent communication and organizational skills with a proven ability to advance new and novel ideas

Relevant work experience (e.g., investing, trading, structuring, etc.) ideally across multiple asset verticals with strong grasp of both cash and synthetic products

Detailed knowledge of financial accounting and/or financial analysis

People / project management skills and an extremely strong attention to detail

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Team-oriented and self-motivated

Salary Range The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $125000-$250000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
