RF Foundry Business, Director You will use your management ability, technical background and customer relationship skills to deliver real impact for our foundry customers and for the Macom foundry business. You will work directly with technology that will significantly impact the future of Aerospace and Defense, Industrial, and Communications applications. Our broad portfolio in expanding markets and growth-oriented business model allow for opportunities for mobility within the company.
Job Requirements
Lead a team of foundry program managers who service a diverse range of Foundry customers by managing the relationship from initial engagement through quotation/PO acceptance, technical development, wafer processing, test and delivery.
Execute on meeting Foundry revenue growth and margin commitments
Manage/grow foundry backlog, generate quarterly revenue and wafer demand forecasts and assist in long range business planning
Work across company functional organizations to ensure foundry business success, including Sales, R&D, quality, finance, and the wafer fab
Manage the foundry opportunity pipeline and assess vs. forecasted growth projections
Manage and refine the foundry business process from go to market strategy, customer engagement, circuit development, wafer processing, and delivery
Actively manage and ensure Macom/customer IP protection via fire-walled procedures and data exchanges
Participate in quality system and/or trusted foundry certification and customer on-site audits as needed
Assess competitive process technologies and provide input to internal process development roadmaps
Assist program managers in RMA or customer quality escalations as required
Coordinate monthly internal program reviews and assist with preparation as required.
Provide specific customer guidance to the team as required and manage select / more strategic foundry customers as necessary.
Work with program security personnel to ensure program security, physical security, and ITAR/Export requirements are maintained through all foundry programs as required
Minimum Qualifications
This position requires the ability to obtain and retain a government security clearance
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar technical engineering
15+ years of semiconductor industry experience
Strong understanding of MMIC device technology, test, and qualification
In depth knowledge of RF markets, industry trends and the competitive landscape
Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams
Strong verbal, written & presentation communications skills
Self-motivated with strong drive to achieve business objectives
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership and team management skills
Familiarity with markets served by MMIC technology for high power RF systems
Knowledge of microwave circuit design and/or related semiconductor design experience
Understanding of RF semiconductor system architectures for (Radar, EW, jammers, and communication systems)
Ability to distill complex technical and business inputs into a coherent customer-facing message
