Physician - MD/DO - Academic Transplant Nephrologist

SSM Health-Saint Louis University Hospital, in collaboration with Saint Louis University School of Medicine, is seeking a Transplant Nephrologist to join our expanding transplant program. This full-time academic position includes a faculty appointment at Saint Louis University, with rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. Preference will be given to candidates at the Associate or Full Professor level.
Position Overview
Pre‑transplant care: Evaluation of transplant candidates
Post‑transplant management: Oversight of immunosuppression, complications, and co‑morbidities in both inpatient and outpatient settings
Program development and outreach: Strategic growth and community engagement
Academic responsibilities: Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows
Research contributions: Participation in clinical, population‑based, or basic science research
Required Qualifications
Board Certification in Internal Medicine and Nephrology
Valid medical license
Formal training and dedicated experience in Transplant Nephrology
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated leadership and administrative capabilities
Proven track record in research or quality improvement productivity
