The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking a BC/BE Cancer Rehab Physiatrist with a primary focus on enhancing cancer services at UNC Hillsborough Hospital. Rank will be based on qualifications and experience. This position will be involved in inpatient care and consultations, outpatient clinical services, program development, and academic opportunities. This position may provide EMG services at UNC Medical Center and outpatient services at UNC Rex. This position will be given academic time to participate in educational, research, and administrative activities associated with their academic appointment and related area of expertise. This position will have some on call responsibility and participation in quality improvement, resident education, and fellowship development and planning. The successful candidate will be board eligible/board certified in PM&R plus be subspecialty fellowship trained in Cancer Rehabilitation. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

The successful candidate will be board eligible/board certified in PM&R and have successfully completed subspecialty fellowship training in Cancer Rehabilitation. MD or DO with NC medical license or willingness to obtain state license. Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, a record of interdisciplinary collaboration, research, and have the desire to be involved in enhancing quality of patient care, resident education, and fellowship program development.
