The Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is looking for their next Food and Beverage Supervisor to join the team! Hilton La Jolla Torrey Pines is a coastal retreat with breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean from the hotel's balconies and patios. Explore the beauty of Torrey Pines State Reserve nearby, with a walking trailhead to Torrey Pines State Beach one mile away.

Qualifications

A minimum of 2 years experience in Food and Beverage in a full-service restaurant, hotel or country club setting

Previous supervisory and hotel experience is a plus!

Ability to work varied shifts including nights, weekends and holidays

Shift Pattern: typically for breakfast shift starting as early as 6:00 am

Responsibilities

Supervise, support, schedule, assign daily work, inform and train team members in all restaurant activities and operations

Monitor, observe and assist in evaluating team member performance

Support and assist team members in handling guest inquiries and requests and in resolving guest complaints

Ensure compliance with health, safety, sanitation and alcohol awareness standards

Manage and monitor product quality and service and satisfaction trends, evaluate and address issues and make improvements accordingly

Assist in monitoring inventory and inventory control
