Pediatrix is excited to invite a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship-trained physician to join our dynamic and supportive team at Sunrise Children’s Hospital in Las Vegas, NV - a bustling pediatric emergency department with a wide variety of patient acuity, robust subspecialty support, excellent teaching opportunities, and an unbeatable quality of life in a vibrant city with endless outdoor activities.
Job Description
Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients in a high-volume setting (~55,000 annual visits)
Collaborate closely with subspecialty teams including PICU, CVICU, NICU, and hospitalists to manage complex cases
Work alongside a strong support team including child life specialists and pediatric social workers dedicated to ER presence
Engage in bedside teaching and supervision of Pediatric, Emergency Medicine, and Family Practice residents from six programs
Participate in training and didactic sessions for Pediatric ER fellows if desired
Benefit from full scribe coverage to optimize patient care and documentation
Work fair, balanced shifts with the potential for overtime if desired

Experience level: Accepting fellowship-trained PEM physicians (fresh graduates and experienced candidates likely welcome)
This is a permanent, full-time position that requires residency within the immediate local area. Relocation may be required.
