Base pay range $50.00/hr - $55.00/hr Direct message the job poster from Collabera Position Details Client: Medical Devices Company Position Title: R&D Engineer Duration: 06 months (Possibilities of extension) Location: St. Paul, MN 55117 (Onsite) Pay Range: $50/hr to $55/hr Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity models for medical device products. Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments on mechanical and electro-mechanical components and systems. Support product security architecture and ensure integration within product development lifecycles. Oversee cybersecurity testing and validation processes. Prepare and maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory and quality requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D to ensure cybersecurity compliance. Required Skills & Experience Proven experience in Cybersecurity and Product Security. Strong knowledge of FDA cybersecurity regulations and guidance for medical devices. Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks, including: NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0 OWASP ISO standards Preferred Qualifications Background in Medical Devices or Healthcare industry. Experience with embedded systems and product development cybersecurity. Understanding of security architecture and cybersecurity model design.
