Schedule Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Job Description The Registered Nurse in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) will provide high-quality, patient-centered care for adults and geriatrics in a telemetry-monitored setting. This role involves managing patients post-cardiac procedures, as well as those with neurological, respiratory, and gastrointestinal concerns. Responsibilities Utilize advanced nursing skills including IV therapy, phlebotomy, and managing various line care. Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to emergencies appropriately. Administer medications, including cardiac and vasoactive drips. Provide wound care and manage isolation precautions. Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary support team including physical therapy, respiratory services, and pharmacy. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1 year of PCU/ICU (stepdown) experience required. Previous charge experience required. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; CPI preferred.
