Job Overview
We’re looking for a
SQL-focused Data Analyst/Associate Data Engineer
who’s ready to take the next step toward data engineering and data science. This role is ideal for someone who loves working with data - writing complex SQL queries, building reports, and finding insights - and wants to expand into cloud-based pipelines, advanced analytics, and machine learning over time. You’ll work with modern tools like Azure Data Factory, Power BI, and Python in an environment that encourages continuous learning and technical growth.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain data pipelines using
SSIS
and
Azure Data Factory
Develop and enhance
Power BI
dashboards and
SSRS
reports that support decision-making
Perform SQL-based data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
Manage and optimize data within
SQL Server
(on-prem and Azure) for performance and accuracy
Collaborate with analytics and business teams to turn requirements into actionable data solutions
Contribute to data quality, documentation, and governance best practices
Support experimental projects in data science, automation, and cloud analytics
What You’ll Bring
Strong
SQL skills
with experience writing, optimizing, and troubleshooting queries
Familiarity with
ETL tools
like SSIS or Azure Data Factory
Proficiency in
Power BI
or similar BI tools for visualization and reporting
Interest in expanding into
data engineering
or
data science
(Python, R, ML, cloud)
Strong analytical thinking and a desire to learn new tools and technologies
Effective communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with both technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
2–5 years of experience in
data analysis, BI, or database management
Exposure to
Python
or
R
for analytics or automation
Understanding of
data modeling
and basic cloud concepts (Azure preferred)
Experience with
SSRS ,
Synapse , or
Databricks
is a plus
A self-starter mindset with curiosity about data science, machine learning, and AI applications
